Congratulations to these awesome Falcons! We recognized our Falcon Flyer drawing winners, Mrs. Coffing's 5th graders for earning the Wings Award, and our summer BINGO readers this week on our Friday google meets. We are proud of our student leaders!

Our September All-School Assembly focused on S-Safety and belonging this month. We are having an amazing start to our 25-26 school year!

Our Folwell Falcons are SOARing at the start of our school year! Proud of our 375 students who earned Falcon Flyers last week and these students we honored at our Friday Google Meets. Congrats to Mrs. Affelt's Kinders for earning the Wings Award!

Our PTSA ice cream social was tonight on the playground. It may have been chilly but lots of ice cream and frozen treats were enjoyed. Thx Folwell PTSA for providing delicious treats for everyone!

We held our first of the year Friday Falcon Flyer Google Meets this morning. We do this every Friday morning during the school year to recognize students for making great choices and SOARing during the school week. Every class has two Falcon Flyer winners-see our picture of this week's honorees. Congratulations also to Mrs. Kohlmeyer's 1st graders for earning Wings tickets during specials. Gooooo Falcons!

We practiced bus safety this week. Every classroom boarded the bus, reviewed bus rules, and then practiced a bus evacuation. We are ready for some awesome field trips!

Rochester Public Schools uses the Standard Response Protocol in response to emergencies that may occur in our school buildings. Students and staff will train, practice, and drill the protocol throughout the year. Learn more about what "hold," "secure," "lockdown," "evacuate," and "shelter" mean: https://www.rochesterschools.org/standard-response-protocol

We gathered for an all-school assembly on our first day. It was fun to sing our school song and be altogether in the same space. It's going to be an amazing school year!

Some candids of this year's 5th graders on our first day of school. Goooo Falcons!

Welcome to our 25-26 school year! Our Folwell teams are excited to serve our Folwell School community.

Our first two days of school this week were amazing! Our Kinders did great with eating their first school lunch meals in our cafeteria.

Folwell families: A reminder about the detour for the first day of school tomorrow! Due to construction on 2nd Street, there will be increased traffic flow to 6th Street, one of the most common routes to Folwell. But there's a better way! Check out our advised route for the Load & Go line at bit.ly/folwellroute. (Approaching from the south is the key!)

It was a beautiful evening for our Kindergarten Popsicles on the Playground event. It's going to be such a fun year with these new Kinders!

End of year playground fun!

Our 5th Grade Clap-Out!

Some last day of school smiles...we had an amazing year together!

Our 3rd graders have been experiencing deeper learning through the biomes projects. They researched a biome, learned about animals and habitats in that biome, and then created their own animal that would live there. Today they viewed each other's projects and gave feedback to each other. Great researching and writing-you should be so proud! Pictured is Mrs. Howes's class.

Today our 5th grade families joined us to we celebrated our 5th graders at our Folwell 5th Grade Recognition. We have one more day with you at Folwell and then you will spread your wings and SOAR. "Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!"

We reached our goal of earning 600 finishing strong tickets in the last three weeks! Here are students we honored for being leaders at Folwell! Mrs. Pearsons's and Mrs. Lewis's students earned the Wings awards and Mrs. Leisinger's students were the first class to returm ALL their library books. Nice work, Falcons!
