We are a small neighborhood school of about 320 students with an amazing community of staff, students and families. Our Folwell family is a collaborative community where positive relationships are at the heart of learning and growing. Every child, parent and staff member is an essential part of our Folwell family.

I am honored to serve as Principal at Folwell where our mantra is, “Together we will”.

Our Folwell Falcons SOAR! SOAR is an acronym for our school expectations. S=Safety, O=Own Your Behavior, A=Always Learning and R=Respectful. 

I have been an educator for more than 20 years as a teacher, an Implementation Associate in Curriculum and Instruction, an Assistant Principal, and a Principal. I grew up in rural southwest Minnesota and have taught in Burnsville/Eagan/Savage School District and Rochester Public Schools. I am passionate about helping children learn, grow, and discover their strengths. When schools and families partner together, children thrive. Our family partnerships are an integral part of our school. Join our PTSA (Parent-Teacher-Student Association) or become a VIE volunteer (Volunteers in Education) in our classrooms and school.
